DIRECTING JOHNSON COUNTY MUSIC AT PLAY AND ADDITIONAL EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMMING

Tiffany Swopes is in her sixth year of teaching choral music. This will be her second year with the Indianapolis Children’s Choir. She received her undergraduate degree in Contemporary & Popular Music Education from the University of Maine Augusta as well as an Associates in Culinary Arts degree from Ivy Tech Community College. During her years as an educator, she was awarded the CTE New Teacher of the Year for the state of Indiana in 2018. Tiffany previously worked as the high school choir director at the Nineveh Hensley Jackson school corporation where her choirs traveled throughout the county performing at festivals, celebrations, and competitions. In addition to her directing, Tiffany serves in her church music ministry singing and accompanying on the piano.
