Singer Fundraisers

ICC offers fundraising opportunities throughout the year to help singers raise funds for their tour accounts. These include the following, and the list may be expanded as new fundraisers are added. (Note: the Aug/Sept fundraiser is designated for tuition accounts. All other fundraiser credits are applied to tour accounts.)

 

All Year

Shop with Scrip – the fundraiser that pays you to purchase!

Gift cards can be purchased for everyday expenses including groceries, gas, restaurants and more. A percentage of each gift card goes directly to the singer’s tour account as a rebate for using Scrip. (Rebates vary, with over 750 different retailers.)

Choose from physical cards or eGift card products. Over 300 brands of eGift cards are available immediately and over 100 are reloadable onto your physical card. Visit shopwithscrip.com for more information and contact the ICC office to obtain the family enrollment code.

 

Summer/Fall

Season Program Book Advertisements – a lucrative fundraising opportunity

Each year the ICC produces a color program book which is distributed at concerts throughout the season. The book contains information about the ICC, photographs of ICC events, choir rosters, staff and board directories, sponsors and contributors, etc. Ads for this book can be sold by ICC singers to area businesses, and these become part of the program book for the current season. For each ad sold, the singer receives 50% of the profit for their tour account. Ads range in size from a simple business name listing for $100 to a full page for $1000. Bonus: singers who sell $750 or more in ads will receive 60% of the profits. This means that selling one full page ad at $1000 will put $600 in the singer’s tour account. Any combination of ads exceeding $750 qualifies the singer to receive 60% profit. The advertising sales packet including instructions, mechanical requirements, and the ad contract can be obtained in the ICC office or downloaded from this website. Contracts and copy are due by Friday, 10/18/19.

August/September

Believe Kids Catalog Sale

General and holiday themed merchandise such as gift wrap, candles, kitchen gadgets, jewelry, candy, nuts, etc. Profits from this fundraiser benefit singers’ tuition accounts.

 

October/November

DiscoverINDY Coupon Books

Save on dining, shopping, and having fun. Over $500 in savings at area restaurants, retails shops, Kroger stores, and entertainment venues. Coupon books sell for $25 and singers receive $8 for each book sold. An inventory of books will be kept at the ICC office. Purchase as many books as you wish (cash or check only, please) to sell to friends and family.

 

February/March

World’s Finest Chocolate Candy Bar Sale

High quality chocolate bars with 5 flavor choices: almond, crisp, caramel, dark and milk chocolate. Purchase a variety case of 60 bars, then sell them for $1 each and receive 45% of the profit:  $27 per case for the singer’s tour account.

 

March/April

Poppin’Popcorn

Air-popped 1-gallon resealable bags in a variety of gourmet flavors. Sell from a colorful brochure, $15 per bag. Singers receive $5 for each bag sold for their tour account.
