5th Annual Teacher Symposium!
Dates: June 8-11th, 2019 9:00am-2:30pm
Location: Lilly Hall, Butler University
Complimentary optional attendance to
ICC Sing, Sing, Sing concert
Thursday, June 11, 7pm, Clowes Memorial Hall
Certificate of professional development hours completed will be provided.

(Conductors of all comfort levels welcome – workshop will be zero-pressure and tailored to the needs of participants!)
We’re always evolving to meet the needs of our community of colleagues. Each year, the ICC Teacher Symposium designs new sessions and hosts special guest speakers! Every Symposium is different – join us this year for our 5th Anniversary!
New this year: Comfort Level Tracks
Split sessions will provide a choice based on level of experience and comfort level with the session topic. Ex: Vocal Pedagogy for experienced singers, as well as an introduction to vocal technique for those teachers less experienced in the choral world!
The Symposium welcomes all music teachers and directors – from all backgrounds!

Can’t make it in June, or can’t get enough of your friends at the ICC? New this year – Observe our July Choral Fest summer camp! While Symposium sessions are not offered in July, when you register as an official observer you will have the opportunity to meet with ICC Artistic Staff to discuss your observations and get your questions answered!
July Choral Fest summer camp dates are July 20-24 (Friday is concert day and will not be an official observation/meeting day. Participants can still observe Friday in addition to their other day(s) by contacting Lauren Southard.)

NEW – Consider joining the ICC Teacher Advisory Board
The TAB is being improved and expanded! We want to meet the further needs of Central Indiana teachers and families.
Elections will be held for board members in late May. We will need representatives from each quadrant of Central Indiana!

ICC Season Performances on May 11th at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church
2:30pm and 7:00pm concerts
Both performances feature a range from 1st grade through Advanced singers.

Free Support for Local Music Teachers through the ICC Innovations Program
