DIRECTING CICC MUSIC AT PLAY

Kaila Lifferth teaches Music At Play early childhood classes for the Columbus Indiana Children’s Choir. She completed her Kodály certification through Indiana University in 2018 and has two levels of Orff Schulwerk training through the University of Kentucky, completing her second level in 2021. Kaila has a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Brigham Young University and a Master of Science in Music Education with a minor in Vocal Performance from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Kaila is also a public-school music educator for Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation where she teaches preschool through sixth grade general music and conducts a children’s choir. Outside of teaching, Kaila is the lead vocalist for a local rock band called Flat Earth.
