Misty Wick Johnston
Director of Development & Marketing

As a strategic, creative, and solutions-based professional, Misty Wick Johnston has excelled in leading and implementing integrated communications and fundraising campaigns that are results-oriented, raise brand awareness, and yield revenue to support programs. As the Director of Development & Marketing, Mrs. Wick Johnston is responsible for the leadership, planning, and implementation of the ICC’s fundraising and marketing efforts. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit industry along with expertise in fundraising, marketing, and event planning.

Formerly, Mrs. Wick Johnston was the Director of Development & Partnerships at Music for All, one of ICC’s music education partners. She spent the last four and a half years as a nonprofit consultant where she provided strategies for her clients along with the tactical, hands-on support they needed to accomplish their goals and reach their fullest potential.

On a personal note, Mrs. Wick Johnston is a native Hoosier, but has lived across the U.S. and overseas in England. She has a B.A. in English from Hanover College and an M.S. in Journalism/Communications from Boston University. She has served on many boards over the years and just completed a six-year term as the president of the Network of Women In Business (NOWIB). She and her husband, Wes, live in Fishers with their two cats, Finn and Scarlett. Mrs. Wick Johnston is a long-time violinist and grew up in a musical family where she learned to play the piano at a very young age and was also in choir at church and school. Her passion for music and arts education along with her own personal experiences in the arts makes her a great advocate for the ICC.
