About the Trio of Minuet:

Madolyn, Wesley, and Doh, three children from the town of Minuet, which has dancing (the primary form of communication) but no singing, follow advice of strange old couple Seemore and Melodia, who can sing, and encounter a creature called Susie who sends them on a trip to various singing communities by chasing them into the River Glissando. Seemore and Melodia explain at the beginning that the performers will indeed be singing in order to interpret the dances for the viewer.

See photos from the original 2003 production featuring ICC singers here.

About the ICC’s 39th Concert Season: Sounds of Progress:

The Indianapolis Children’s Choir is excited to present its 2024-2025 concert season, Sounds of Progress. Join us for a concert season that examines and celebrates change and innovation through the voices of the youth of our vibrant community.

This season will progress through the then and now of choral music as the ICC looks towards what’s next for our singers and our city. As singers work together on stage to evoke feelings of nostalgia and hope, we will all look ahead together to a bright and beautiful tomorrow filled with song.
