Caleb Crawford

Caleb Crawford is a countertenor and pianist from Central Florida. He recently graduated from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music where he earned a Master of Music in Vocal Performance. Crawford received both a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Piano Performance at Pensacola Christian College. He later attended Butler University where he graduated with a Master of Music in Piano Performance. Crawford serves as a staff pianist at Butler University where he also teaches private piano and voice lessons for the Butler Community Arts School. He was also a music director at Hancock County Children’s Choir where he taught and directed the K-3rd and 4-6th grade choirs.
In the spring of 2022, he made his professional debut as a vocal soloist with the American Choral Directors Association at the Harris Theater in Chicago. For the past four years he has served as the Alto 1 section leader at Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis. In December of 2022, Crawford was the alto soloist for Handel’s Messiah with the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra. In the spring of 2024, Crawford was the winning vocalist of the Jacobs School of Music Vivaldi Competition which afforded him the opportunity to perform his aria with the Jacobs Baroque Ensemble in April. Crawford recently played the role of Ruggiero at the Jacob School of Music’s production of Handel’s Alcina this Spring.
