The Indianapolis Children’s Choir Upland location is an auditioned group of children from Kindergarten through 12th Grade in Upland, Indiana.
The program has three choirs, the Preparatory Choir for beginning singers and the Concert Choir for more advanced members. The Youth Chorale is for high school level singers. Each choir rehearses once a week and performs locally three or four times each semester. Advanced singers are offered tour opportunities and additional performance opportunities as well.
All ensembles rehearse in the Smith-Hermanson Music Center at Taylor University.
Upland Preparatory Choir
Beginning Level, Grades K-2
Thursdays, 6:00 – 7:00 pm
The cost for the 2026-2027 Season is $395 for the year (plus a $40, non-refundable registration fee).*
Upland Concert Choir
Advanced Level, Ability-Based, Audition Required
Grades 3 and up
Thursdays, 7:00 – 8:15 pm

High School Singers
Thursdays, 5;30 – 7:45 pm

*Early Bird discounts are available: $20 off until May 31, 2026; $15 off until June 30, 2026; $10 off until July 31, 2026.

Singers are placed in a choir based on their ability and experience. A simple vocal audition (no preparation required) will determine the best fit for your singer so that they can learn, grow, and have fun while being a part of the ICC.
