Janet Bishop
Director of Finance & Operations

Janet Bishop has worked in the arts administration field for more than 20 years. She is currently the Director of Finance & Operations for the Indianapolis Children’s Choir. Previous ICC positions include Special Projects Coordinator, Operations Manager, and Managing Director.

Mrs. Bishop’s initial association with the organization was as a parent of two ICC singers. She became involved in the organization serving as a choir coordinator and managing fundraisers for tours for the ICC staff. She also served in several capacities on the Indianapolis Children’s Choir Parents Association, including serving as president for three years.

Mrs. Bishop graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Prior to her work with the ICC, she ran her own small business for 13 years. She has been heavily involved in her church serving on multiple boards and committees. She loves spending time with her family, especially her seven grandchildren.
