DIRECTING CICC PREPARATORY CHOIR

Jill Friedersdorf is currently the primary accompanist for the Columbus Indiana Children’s Choir and directs the Columbus Indiana Preparatory Choir, which are part of the Indianapolis Children’s Choirs. She also teaches Choir at Columbus Christian School, and is active in accompanying other area choirs, ensembles and soloists. She was the founder and director of the Columbus area Christian YouTheatre for Middle and High School students. Mrs. Friedersdorf was the Director of Worship Arts at Community Church of Columbus from 2000-2018, where she directed the adult and children’s choirs, musicals, drama productions, summer Music and Drama Camp, and worship music and multi-media preparation for weekly services in the active 1200-member church. In her career, she has taught choir, band and general music to many students in public, private and home school classrooms. As an active composer, she and her co-composer, Melissa Keylock, have choral works published with Colla Voce, Hal Leonard, ICC Publishing, Chorister’s Guild and ECS Publishing Group.
