Alumni Giving: Tamar Sternfeld
I still remember week after week, year after year, for eight years of my life, sitting in the hallways at Butler, doing my homework, studying our sheet music, and hanging out with my friends, waiting for rehearsal. As a young child, I couldn’t really appreciate all that was involved with my being there each day.
I can’t thank those teachers enough, especially Mr. Leck and Mrs. Dwyer, whose belief in me and nurturing of my motivation helped shape the person I
am today.
Looking back, the skills that I learned in the ICC laid the foundation for my life as an adult – both as a mom and as a professional.
Being a member of the ICC not only taught me how to balance my work and home life, but also how to spin all of the different “plates” that I have in my career, as well as the joy of pursuing
my passions.
For 30 years, children and young adults all over Indiana have been moved, inspired, and nurtured the same way that I was.
I give to the ICC because I want to be a part of making sure that the life-changing experiences that were provided to me will still be available for generations to come.
I am proud to not only be a founding member of the ICC, but to be a charter contributor in the Alumni Circle of Giving, and I invite you to join me in giving back to the organization that has given us all so much.
Sincerely,
Tamar (Nadler) Sternfeld
ICC Singer from 1987-1994
