Welcome to the Indianapolis Children’s Choir’s 2021-2022 Concert Series! We invite you to take a cultural journey through time with us as we focus on celebrating one of life’s greatest gifts – live musical performances that impact youth in our community.

ICC singers unite their voices to honor the resilience of our community as we transform time and place with songs from across the globe and spanning the centuries. The ICC focuses on exploring culturally relevant repertoire that allows us to impact our singers and our audiences. Songs performed by the ICC weave a tapestry of cultures, experiences, and beliefs that helps to unify us as a community. Together, we will experience our communities’ strengths while recognizing the continuing challenges facing us today.

Join us as we explore the fabric of our society and the resilience of our own community by showcasing singers that are the brightest hope and light in our world today.

Join the ICC for our greatest tradition – our holiday concerts!

As you take in the sounds of your favorite holiday classics, like “Jingle Bells” or “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” consider what brings you Comfort And Joy this time of year.

For so many, this is the busiest time of the year, and while it can be difficult to get through the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it is our hope that our performances – Angels Sing, Celebrate the Season, and Sounds of the Season – will give you a moment to sit back, relax, and reminisce on what the holidays mean to you.

Whether it’s the type of joy that lasts for days and comes with careful planning or joy that arrives out of nowhere and fades within a minute, finding moments of comfort and delight make the holiday season so magical and I am thrilled that the ICC can share in these moments with each of you.

Comfort and Joy holiday concerts are sponsored by Dr. Tavel Family Eye Care and 13 WTHR. The Angels Sing: Comfort And Joy Concert will be broadcast on 13 WTHR on December 24, 2021, from 1:00 – 2:00 am; on December 25, 2021, from 4:00 – 5:00 am; and December 25, 2021, from 6:00 -7:00 am.
