This is another opportunity to sing Dan Forrest’s Jubilate Deo at Carnegie Hall under the direction of Henry Leck. This tour will take place on June 9 – 11, 2018.
Graduated ICC Alumni have been invited by Manhattan Concert Productions to join their masterworks chorus at Carnegie Hall under the direction of Henry Leck in the New York City premiere of Jubilate Deo accompanied by the all-professional New York City Chamber Orchestra! You may recall that the ICC commissioned this work from Dan Forrest in celebration of our 30th anniversary season and Mr. Leck’s retirement. The ICC Alumni Festival Chorus premiered it on the Carnegie Hall stage last March. It was a great success!

Please pay close attention to the payment schedule below (first payment is due December 15). You will also need to organize transportation, meals and housing on your own.

MCP has generously offered a “guest conductor discount” from these standard participant fees. The discount is $100 off the Event Package – making this package $689. We will only offer the Event Package for this trip. Disregard the Classic Package. You must secure housing, transportation and meals in NYC on your own.
EVENT PACKAGE ONLY
You must secure your own housing, please be sure to be on time at the first rehearsal on Saturday, June 9 at the hotel.
Non-performers may join you at $185 which includes concert ticket ($110 face value), access to rehearsals and private sound check, and post-concert reception ($90 value). Airfare on own.
June 9: 9:00-1:00 OR 1:30-5:30 rehearsal (we will let you know the specific schedule as soon as we do)
June 10: 9:00-1:00 OR 1:30-5:30 rehearsal
June 11: Concert Day! Short brush-up rehearsal followed by afternoon sound check and formal evening concert. A post-concert reception will immediately follow with buffet dinner and music.
For men, we recommend black suits with a black collared shirt; for women, black slacks or skirt and a black blouse or a black dress. Please be mindful of skirt/dress lengths and pressed shirts and jackets. Both men and women should wear comfortable shoes. Please keep in mind that you will be standing while on stage and will encounter stairs backstage.
