The Foundations Choir meets for 10 weeks per semester and concludes with a performance at one of ICC’s Season Concerts. Kindergarteners will be introduced to formal choir instruction in a playful and understanding environment. The choir will begin laying the foundation for music concepts that the singers will encounter as they move up to the Preparatory Choir in 1st-3rd Grade. This exciting new ICC program integrates essential academic, social, and developmental concepts into the choir curriculum to help our Kindergarten singers reach important milestones. In addition to traditional music instruction, the Foundations curriculum will fold symbols, patterns, math and more into the choir curriculum in order to strengthen important Kindergarten skills during this influential year in a child’s life!
Hybrid In-Person Rehearsals available, or you can choose Virtual-Only! Simply communicate with your director after registration.
