Singers will bring to life the new imaginings of Ola Gjeilo’s Sunrise Mass and Gospel Mass by Robert Ray and will juxtapose them with a classical mass written hundreds of years ago. DESCRIPTION:Get a one-day glimpse into ICC’s choir for kindergarteners while strengthening essential academic\, social\, and developmental concepts at each point in your child’s kindergarten year as you reach important milestones! Kindergarteners will be immersed in the arts as a tool for strengthening their skills in key areas of their academic year including symbols\, patterns\, math\, and more. Students will leave the day camp with a take-home portfolio to show off all of their art and learning. \nSnacks will be provided\, and singers should bring a sack lunch. FREE and open to the public. \n\nExplore the ICC’s new Performing Arts Center\nAudition to join choir (beginners welcome!)\nMovie screenings\, including Trio of Minuet children’s opera with costume displays\nFREE popcorn\, other treats for purchase\nRaffle for ICC season concert tickets\nUnboxing of Trio of Minuet costumes in honor of 20th anniversary\, with option to take home a costume\n\n  \n \nAbout the Trio of Minuet: \nMadolyn\, Wesley\, and Doh\, three children from the town of Minuet\, which has dancing (the primary form of communication) but no singing\, follow advice of strange old couple Seemore and Melodia\, who can sing\, and encounter a creature called Susie who sends them on a trip to various singing communities by chasing them into the River Glissando.
