DESCRIPTION:For over 29 years\, the CICC Music Camp has brought together kids from seven counties who love to sing for a day camp experience of music-making and fun! Kids will learn\, laugh\, and sing together in a vigorous\, fast-paced environment. Activities include: \n\nLearning songs from a variety of genres\nVocal development in every choral rehearsal\nGames designed to develop rhythm\, music reading\, and harmonic skills\nPerforming in a public concert for friends and family with current singers from the CICC!\n\nThe Columbus Indiana Children’s Choir Music Camp supports the ICC/CICC mission to nurture and inspire student achievement through quality music education and the pursuit of artistic excellence in choral music performance. The ICC/CICC is committed to working closely with music educators to create quality experiences that will complement the great work accomplished in Indiana schools.

DESCRIPTION:What is old becomes new again as our high school division performs movements from three major works that take two-thousand-year-old texts and set them to increasingly modernized musical styles. Singers will bring to life the new imaginings of Ola Gjeilo’s Sunrise Mass and Gospel Mass by Robert Ray and will juxtapose them with a classical mass written hundreds of years ago.
